I created this piece to reflect the majority of my Korean-American identity. The subject is adorned in a traditional hanbok, while the background is a tapestry of clippings from old Korean newspapers. This is intended to symbolize how my identity was shaped by various experiences and influences, forming a background that impacts everything I do in day-to-day life.
