Sleep and Debate

This painting depicts my teammate during a speech and debate practice, representing a breakthrough moment for me. Although initially approaching speech and debate with a purely academic perspective, I discovered that the most fulfilling aspects of the activity lay in the small moments of relaxation and practice with my teammates. The artwork aims to capture the essence of respite within academic settings.
